Current Situation:
Small business that’s grown from 3 to 5 staff. They had a 5 year old commander phone system they were renting and had 3 normal PSTN phone lines connected.
They had busy times during the tax season and know they missed calls. They also had mobile staff that visited clients sites for bookkeeping so they were taking messages for them. Other staff were taking manual messages and leaving them on desks. They also wanted to be able to transfer important calls to staff mobiles.

The Solution:
The Alcatel Omni PCX phone system “was exactly what we wanted” said the client.
The Alcatel Phone System came with free Greetings, Free Voicemail and we also added Professional Messages On Hold to the solution.
The Greetings acts as a backup for staff on the phone. Rather than stop a call to answer another, the Greetings now answers after 6 rings and says “Thank you for calling ABC Accounting, your call is important and we will be with you in a moment”. This ensures they never miss calls, and it sounds incredibly professional.
The Voicemail is now used by all staff and stopped the need for manual message taking. Clients now leave detailed messages for the right staff member.
After hours clients can now leave messages so they know they have called.
The Alcatel Phone system allowed customers calls to be transferred to staff mobile phones when important (we changed the lines from PSTN to ISDN and added an extra line).
