Step 1 - Phone skills training for end users

On the day of installation we'll give your staff the skills to:

  • Transfer calls
  • Put callers on hold
  • Handle multiple calls
  • Make internal and external calls
  • Set up and retrieve voicemail

By keeping training to the basics your staff won't be confused and they'll be able to use the system from day 1. This allows them to become genuinely proficient in using the phone handsets.

Train the Trainer

In addition to end user telephone training we'll also spend extra time "training the trainer" - an in-office expert who can then train new staff on system features and functions and become a general go-to person for phone help. This person is often the receptionist.

System Administration Training for high level changes

Apart from phone skills training, we also educate your designated system administrator so you can make your own changes to phone system settings (optional extra). For example, adding and deleting staff, hunt groups etc. This is different and much more advanced than phone skills training above. With this knowledge you'll potentially save $1000s over the life of your system as we show you how to DIY. Plus, we're still there to support you for the life of the phone system.

Step 2 - Phone skills refresher training (provided free)

It's natural that some staff will forget parts of the phone skills training they received in Step 1. This is why we return to your office a week later to provide free follow-up refresher training. We'll recap the basics to ensure everyone is up to speed.

Advanced phone skills training

Now your staff are ready, well train them in more advanced functions like changing the auto-attendant, changing voicemail greetings and more. They will be able to absorb this easily because they haven't been bombarded with too much information!

Phone System settings changes

Now that your staff have had a week to familiarise themselves with your new telephone system they may have suggestions or queries to modify how the system works. We will happily make these changes for you free of charge.

Phone system training manuals, user guides, videos

Whether you buy new or used phone solutions, it doesn't stop there! You will also receive user guides, as well as having access to our free online how-to videos showing you how to use voicemail, transfer, put on hold and other functions. All this and more is made available free to you on our web site.
